Quick start

Your first session, from a headset on the desk to a recorded file, in six steps. Each step links to the screen that covers it in full.

1. Put the headset on

Switch the headset on and put it on the head.

2. Open the app

Open BrainAccess Mobile. It starts scanning by itself the first time you arrive at the device list. Grant the permission prompt (see the permissions in Installation). Details: Connect a headset.

3. Connect

Tap Connect on your headset in Discovered. Details: Connect a headset.

4. Check electrode contact

Tap Impedance and seat the electrodes until the head map is green. Details: Contact check.

5. Start streaming (or recording)

On the contact-check screen, tap Stream to go straight to the live signal, or Record to start streaming and recording in one step. Details: Live signal viewer, Recording.

6. Record and find the file

Tap Rec in the viewer to start or stop a recording; find the file later under Recordings. Details: Live signal viewer, Recordings and review.
