BrainAccess Extended Kit offers higher electrode/channel density than the Standard Kit yet remains a very portable EEG solution. It features a 16 channel electroencephalograph and EEG cap with dry-contact electrodes.
BrainAccess Standard Kit contents:
- BrainAccess MIDI. It is a 16 input channel electroencephalograph with a common reference channel. MIDI is a battery-powered bluetooth-enabled device, which can be mounted on the back of BrainAccess CAP. It also features additional digital input and 3-axis accelerometer. Moreover, it also offers active noise suppression reducing the influence of external noise sources.
- BrainAccess CAP. It is an EEG cap with dry-contact shape-conforming electrodes. The electrodes can be mounted at different positions on the BrainAccess CAP making it a very configurable option. BrainAccess electrodes are dry-contact electrodes and therefore do not require any gel or scalp preparation. In addition, each spike in the electrode is spring-loaded making them conform to the curvature of the head, which results in increased comfort when compared to standard spike electrodes. The CAP includes 16 spike electrodes and 2 pad electrodes for the placement on the forehead that are typically used as reference and bias electrodes in BrainAccess setups.
- BrainAccess Software. The software includes BrainAccess Board, an application for interfacing with BrainAccess devices, saving and streaming EEG data and is also an access point to available EEG and BCI apps. BrainAccess SDK a collection of libraries for controlling the device and accessing EEG data, preprocessing EEG data and BCI algorithms can be downloaded as well after purchase. The libraries are provided with C/C++ and Python API.
